Grecotel Astir Palace

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel twice in June 2025 with my family and friends. During our first visit, we encountered a few issues, but Mr. Panagiotis, the Rooms Division Manager, personally assured us that our next stay would be exceptional—and he absolutely delivered on that promise. Our second stay turned out to be one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. Mr. Panagiotis generously upgraded our rooms, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team welcomed us and our friends with warmth and outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Mr. Ali, who took excellent care of us each morning at breakfast. We are truly grateful for the experience and will definitely return. Thank you all!

We had a wonderful stay at Grecotel Astir Palace. The location is excellent, just by the beach and also close to the city center, which made it very convenient. The staff were all very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere from the start. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of variety each morning. The beach was beautiful and well-kept, and the pools were relaxing and a great place to spend time during the day. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely come back again

The staff is kind and friendly. Hotel was clean. We stayed in executive suit 603. The room was with seaview and had a private pool in front. Especially during night it is pleasant to sit by the private pool. The open buffet breakfast was sufficient. The hotel has a long beach with an easy access and the sea is nice. They have free parking place for your car. It is around 600-700 meters to the tavernas and coastal walking road. You don't have to take your car. The hotel is settled in a huge area. One side of the hotel fronts to the sea and the other side to the pine trees. They have kettle, free water, coffee and tea in the room.

Close to sea (beachfront), breakfast buffet opens early at 07:00 till 10:30, comfortable and functional rooms having enough size, silent, clean sea and sea is sandy, good for families having kid, close to Alexandroupoli town by walk. Safe parking area for car. Good alternative for holiday, people living in Istanbul and Marmara region

Very nice hotel, a bit dated and not 5 star. I am finding in this region the misleading use of Suite to discribe a executive queen room it's annoying. Rooms with private pool overlooking beach a plus. Room rate and F&B prices high but to be expected in Summer season.
